Decorative MDF Acoustic Panel

Panel Type

MDF Wood Grille Acoustic Panel

Surface Structure

Regularly Arranged MDF Wood Slats

Acoustic Backing

Polyester Fiber

Product Structure

MDF Wood Grille
Regularly spaced MDF slats form the visible grille structure. The slats create the open face of the panel while providing the finished decorative surface.
Polyester Fiber Backing
A polyester fiber layer is positioned behind the MDF grille. It forms the acoustic layer within the panel construction.
Grille-to-Backing Construction
The MDF grille and polyester fiber backing are assembled as one panel. The open spaces between the slats expose the backing layer rather than covering it with a continuous MDF surface.

Acoustic Performance

Sound Absorption Performance
The polyester fiber acoustic backing absorbs reflected sound passing through the MDF grille, helping reduce reverberation in interior spaces.

Design & Construction Features

Regular Grille Geometry
The MDF slats follow a regular linear arrangement, providing consistent visual spacing across the installed panel surface.
Open-Face Grille Design
The spaces between the slats keep the polyester fiber backing exposed to the room side, forming the basic acoustic configuration of the panel.
CNC-Processed Components
CNC cutting is used to process MDF panel components according to the required dimensions and grille design, supporting consistent component production.
Wall & Ceiling Configuration
The panel construction can be used on interior walls and selected ceiling areas, allowing the same grille-and-backing concept to be applied across different interior surfaces.

Customization

Custom Panel Dimensions
Panel dimensions can be produced according to confirmed project requirements.
Custom Grille Design
The MDF grille pattern can be processed according to approved drawings or design requirements.
Custom Acoustic Panel Shapes
Shaped acoustic panels can be produced for projects requiring non-standard panel geometries.
Custom Surface Finish
MDF surface colors, wood-grain appearance and other confirmed finish requirements can be specified according to the project.
OEM Production
OEM production is available based on approved product specifications, drawings and labeling requirements.

Quality Control

Supplier & Raw Material Control
MDF and polyester fiber materials are checked against the approved material specification before production. Material type, dimensions, thickness and visible surface condition are verified through specification review, measurement and visual inspection. Non-conforming materials are withheld from production.
CNC Processing Inspection
CNC-processed MDF components are checked against the approved dimensions and grille design. Measurements are used to verify component dimensions, while cut edges, slot geometry and visible machining defects are inspected before assembly. Components outside the approved requirements are reprocessed or rejected.
Production Sampling
Online checks and manual sampling are performed during production. Sampled panels are checked for dimensional consistency, grille alignment and visible defects. Identified deviations are reviewed and corrected before production continues.
Surface Inspection
Finished grille surfaces are inspected under consistent lighting for scratches, dents, chipped edges, contamination and other visible defects. Surface appearance is compared with the approved finish reference.
Final Inspection & Traceability
Before packing, finished panels are checked for dimensions, grille alignment, backing condition, surface quality and overall panel integrity. Non-conforming panels are removed from shipment. Production information is recorded through the QR-code traceability system for subsequent quality review.

FAQ

Q: What should I consider when selecting an MDF acoustic panel for a commercial project?

A: Consider the required panel format, grille design, surface finish, installation location, acoustic requirements and project quantity before finalizing the specification.

Q: Can MDF acoustic panels be used for large wall areas?

A: Yes. The regular grille format is suitable for continuous wall layouts and can be arranged across larger interior surfaces.

Q: Are MDF acoustic panels suitable for commercial fit-out projects?

A: Yes. They are used in offices, meeting rooms, recording studios, cinemas, entertainment spaces and other interior fit-out projects.

Q: Can the same panel specification be supplied for phased projects?

A: Yes. Approved product specifications and finish references can be retained as production references for subsequent orders.

Q: What information should be provided for a custom acoustic panel quotation?

A: Provide the required panel dimensions, grille design, quantity, surface finish and application requirements. Drawings or reference images can be included for custom designs.

Q: Can a project use different MDF acoustic panel designs?

A: Yes. Different grille designs or panel configurations can be specified for different areas when the production requirements are confirmed before manufacturing.

Q: How should MDF acoustic panels be specified for a ceiling project?

A: The buyer should provide the ceiling layout, panel dimensions and installation requirements so the panel configuration can be matched to the project.

Q: Can the panel finish be selected to match other interior materials?

A: Yes. The required MDF color, wood-grain appearance or other approved finish reference can be specified for the project.

Q: How can buyers reduce differences between repeat orders?

A: Use the previous approved specification and finish reference as the production basis for subsequent orders.

Q: What documents should be provided when requesting a bulk quotation?

A: Provide the required quantity, panel specification, grille design, surface finish, destination and any OEM or packaging requirements.
